Jayce Rastrelli
Co-Founder, Mentorship Coach, Head Strength Coach
I’m the youngest of seven children and a proud uncle to 14 nieces and 14 nephews. Growing up, I played a variety of sports, but I never truly integrated my faith into my athletic life. That changed in 2016 when I volunteered as a counselor at the first Frassati Sports summer basketball camp. That experience had an immediate and lasting impact on me—it opened my eyes to the power of combining faith and athletics and sparked a deep passion for mentorship and coaching.
I went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science: Human Performance with a minor in Sport Coaching from UNCo. While continuing to coach with Frassati, I also became the first Athletic Director at Our Lady of Victory High School. Through both of these roles, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of a Christ-centered approach to sports. Fitness and athletics offer countless opportunities to grow in virtue, discipline, and leadership.
I believe God gave us our bodies as a gift, and it’s our responsibility to care for them and use them to serve Him. Through Grow the Kingdom—and by His guidance—I hope to help young people realize the importance of glorifying God through their physical strength and using their bodies as temples to carry out His will.

I am recently married to the love of my life and cannot wait for God to bless us with children! Coming from a large Catholic family in Colorado; competitiveness, sports, fitness, and faith are engrained into my heart and soul. As a professional basketball player, my career has taken me all over the world and during a difficult time in my journey, God led me to play in Israel! Through this experience of playing and living in the Holy Land, I saw the Bible come alive and I truly took my faith as a Catholic seriously for the first time.
Since then I have desired to serve others in sport and fitness, aligning it with our faith and giving all glory to God in everything we do. My mission at Grow the Kingdom is just that; to give people a high level gym to glorify God through exercising and taking care of our bodies as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Through my life experience of traveling and playing 8 seasons professionally, I hope to mentor and equip as many young adults as possible to fight the good fight in the Kingdom of God!
